After his album tour here in the Philippines, David Archuleta returned to the US to perform at the Grove LA, Annual Christmas Tree Lighting with our very own Charice.

David Archuleta and Charice performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” at the said event. The song was an official single from David Archuleta‘s Christmas album last year titled Christmas from the Heart featuring Charice. The David-Charice collaboration peaked at no. 24 on Billboard’s Hot Adult/Contemporary Chart. And according to reports, the said track hit no. 1 in China.
Charice also sang “Jingle Bell Rock” and “My Grown Up Christmas List” while David also performed “Melodies of Christmas” and “The First Noel.”
David Archuleta and Charice are good friends since they met at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in 2008.

Inihayag ni American Idol runner-up David Archuleta ang mga katangian na hinahanap niya sa isang babae. Katunayan, inilagay pa niya ito sa isa sa kanyang mga kanta.

Sa one-on-one interview ni entertainment reporter Grace Lee, sinabi ni David na nais niyang maipakita sa publiko ang kanyang “fun side" sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga awitin.

“I wanted to show the fun side of David because this is my last chance to make an album while I’m still a teenager," pahayag ni David sa Chika Minute ng GMA news 24 Oras nitong Huwebes.

David is turning 20 next month.

Gayunman, hindi naman umano nagmamadali si David na magkaroon ng karelasyon. Pero ipinaalam niya ang katangian na hinihanap niya sa isang babae.


“She's anything but typical. A sweet surprise. No matter what, she's looking at the bright side," paglalarawan ni David na bahagi sa isa sa kanyang mga awit.

“I think there’s so much more to girls that really… you can be attracted that last so much longer that just the way they look," dagdag pa niya.

Nasa bansa si David sa ikalawang pagkakataon para magpromote ng kanyang second album na "The Other Side of Down."

Ang mensahe sa kanyang album ay may kaugnayan sa mga pinagdadaanan sa buhay ng tao.

“The other side of down is up…life is hard but life is good," pahayag ng American Idol alumnus.

Nagpaabot ng labis na pasasalamat si David sa kanyang mga tagahangang Pinoy. – FRJimenez, GMANews.TV
